AboutToronto

Hi, I'm Rishi. Filet Foundry is where I make things.

[Two short paragraphs: what you do by day, what you make by night, and why you keep coming back to tools that give people time and bring them together. Keep it human — this is the page that decides whether someone trusts the apps.]

[A line on the 3D printing side of the studio and how the software and hardware projects feed each other.]

Why we build

House rules
01
For people, not instead of them

We remove the tedious parts of work so people have more time to create. We don't build things that replace human creativity or the work people find meaning in.

02
Things should bring people together

Every product is designed around a community — a daycare, a run club, a neighbourhood — not a lone user staring at a screen.

03
Net positive, or not at all

We look for a real need and a positive impact on people and the environment before we spend a single resource — and we do that work up front, not after launch.

04
Can ≠ should

Being able to build something is not a reason to build it. The ideas we set down are listed on the Projects page, with why.
